Services

Initial Consultation

We understand that entrusting us with your pet and home can be a difficult decision to make. To reassure you of our professionalism, we offer a free initial consultation, were we get to meet you and your pet.

During the consultation, we will discuss your requirements and go through details such as your pet’s habits, medical history and exercise routine etc. We will also ask for contact details, including your veterinarian and emergency contacts.

Dog walking

Dogs can benefit greatly from a long, energetic fun walk and are less likely to develop behavioural problems, as they are released from boredom and isolation. All dogs benefit from exercise mentally and physically.

We offer a quality one-on-one service, however, if you have more than one dog in your household and they are used to being walked together, we can offer a service to cover this. Dogs are always walked on leash for safety and security and the routes are varied regularly.

Dog walking is available Monday to Friday.

Puppy visits

Bringing a new puppy in to your home can be the most wonderful experience in the world. Puppies need food and attention during the day, and if you are stuck at work, Happy Paws Herts can help. It is recommended that young dogs are not left alone for more than 4 hours in one period, so a daily visit or two can help.

The first thing we will do on a visit is take puppy outside for a bathroom break. If there have been any accidents, we will clean them up. We will give them a lunchtime feed as well, since their tummies are still quite small.

A short walk or playtime with puppy will help them burn off energy, so they can nap until you come home. A standard visit will last up to 30 minutes.
